Edward Hartshorn

After a bit of a break from the blog, I decided to get back on today!  I just realized that I never shared Edward Hartshorn's picture with all of you!  Cousin Linda was so kind to share it with me several months ago.  It has definitely become a treasure to me.  The actual picture she has is very small.  I had some help trying to restore the picture, but the original is still my favorite.  The picture was taken of him back at the time of the Civil War.  He is shown in full uniform.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!  He was my ggg grandfather and gg grandfather to many of you!

Here is the original and the restored picture for you to enjoy!
